Student Ministries Summer Intern
Mustang United Methodist Church: Student Ministry Intern
Summer Semester 2021
The MUMC Students Internship Program is designed to provide the exposure, experience, and education necessary to build a foundation for your calling.
This will be a part-time internship from June 1, 2021 through August 15, 2021; working up to 15 hours per week plus Journey Camp ( 6/2-6/6 ), Youth Force Ardmore (6/20-6/25)( if necessary), Dayspring Camp( 7/5-7/9 ).
Whether that means vocational ministry, the helping professions, or going into the business world, we are here to help you discern where God is calling you and how you can use your gifts and abilities to honor God along the way.
Each semester we will focus on developing at least three of the below concepts. We will make goals that will stretch you current comfort levels and help you to grow as an individual.
Our team will challenge you to learn skill sets such as graphic design, video design, carpentry, and event execution.
Sharpen your gifts and talents and push past your comfort zone through one-on-one development.
Be a part of changing the lives of others in our community and beyond by serving weekly in small groups, large group and other activities. As well as leading at our camps.
Learn how you work as a leader during times of stress and times of notoriety.
We will work together to develop one another’s faith and see how we can merge our faith and leadership into one cohesive part of who we are.
You will be trained on how to care for people in times of personal crisis such as death or other traumatic events.
