The Epic of

a study series offered by Mustang UMC

Does the Old Testament feel like an unorganized closet? You know some of the people and stories, but unsure of how they all go together? Want to see how the Old Testament connects to Jesus and to us? Want to get caught up in the story of God more than the story of Now? Then “The Epic of Eden” is for you. Dr. Sandra Richter has expertly organized the Old Testament in a way that brings new insight and organization to the incredible story of God, and you will get to experience her teaching in our Wednesday Night and Journey Together Small Group experience.

We have multiple ways to experience this study:

Class- Pastor Aaron Tiger will host our class on Wednesday Night from 6:30-7:30 beginning January 20th in the sanctuary of Mustang UMC or live-streamed to your living room. (If you can’t watch it live, then you can follow the link to watch it later.)

Conversation- Karen Reynolds is preparing a Journey Together Conversation Guide that will allow you and your small group to converse and dig into the lives of one another using stories from the Old Testament as a starting point. (Watching the Class is highly encouraged, but not required for this.)

Contemplation- Want to go deeper? You can purchase the Epic of Eden Study Guide to dig deeper into the Old Testament.

Interested? Fill out the Form below. We will have nursery, children, route 56, and student activities, as well as dinner at 5:30 for people who would choose to attend a dinner socially distanced at different tables. If you have questions, then contact
